District Transportation
Important Information
The District has a face-to-face busing procedure for all Pre-K and Kindergarten students. This means that in order for the bus driver to drop-off a student in Pre-K or Kindergarten, there must be an adult visible to the driver at the drop-off location. If an adult is NOT visible at the drop-off location, the student will be brought back to school and the parent/guardian will need to pick him/her up. If there is an older sibling or buddy with the student, a face-to-face is not required with prior written permission from the parent/guardian. This is necessary to ensure the safety and security of our students, especially as weather conditions worsen.
Buses will not travel on private roads. Pre-K and Kindergarten students must be picked up on the public road nearest their residence.
Students must have permission to be dropped off at any place other than their primary residence.
Students living within one mile from the school need not to be transported.

Our buses travel about 995 miles per day, which is slightly less than 180,000 miles per school year. You could travel around the Earth about 7 times with that amount of miles!
