"Reminders from the Health Office:
There has been an increase of illnesses in the last month. Please monitor your child for illness and encourage good hand washing, rest and nutrition. Here is a review of the Stay Home Guidelines for School. If you have any questions about symptoms or if your child should stay home, please feel free to contact me.
- Fever - If at 100.4 or higher, please keep home until they are fever free without the use of medications.
- Vomiting or Diarrhea - Stay home until free from vomiting and/or diarrhea for 24 hours
- Strep Throat/Eye Infection - Evaluated by doctor and released back into school as prescribed
- Seen in the ER or Hospital - Follow doctors orders, please bring follow-up orders to the school nurse for aid at school
Communication with the office is imperative in order for us to track attendance correctly as well.
