It is my pleasure to officially introduce myself to the Webster community. I consider it a true privilege and honor to have been appointed your new Superintendent and am excited to be a part of the Webster family. I officially started my duties on July 1, 2020. I am hoping to meet with many of our families. I am planning on having a few times set up to meet and greet the community in the near future. This might be though Zoom for the time being. Your thoughts are important to the District moving forward. I look forward to getting to know the community and learning about the District. As I underwent the interview process, and now that I am officially working here, I have witnessed a sense of Tiger pride. So many of you have been extremely welcoming and helpful.
I believe deeply in education as an experience to nurture the whole child, and much of my career has been devoted to developing best practices in academic achievement and social and emotional learning. In today’s world, it is more important than ever to teach students to be emotionally healthy and good citizens, as well as believing in their academic potential. I look forward to teaming with you in providing all students with high-quality education as we prepare them for the future.
I will work diligently to continue the legacy of success established by Mr. Jim Erickson by building strong relationships with staff, parents, students and the Webster community.
To share a little about myself, I have been in education for 23 years. During the past four years, I served in the Stoughton Area School District as a Principal. I have been an Administrator for the past 13 years both as a Middle/High School Associate Principal and as an Elementary Principal. My wife and I have recently relocated to the Webster area and are enjoying everything Webster has to offer. We are excited to be here.
While serving as your Superintendent, I will be visible in our community and maintain an open-door communication policy. I encourage and welcome any questions, comments or concerns you have and can be reached at jfimreite@webster.k12.wi.us.
In partnership,
Jeff Fimreite
