NOTICE FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE:
This is to inform you that we have had confirmed cases of influenza in our district.
The following are the most common symptoms of influenza:
Vomiting/diarrhea can be common in children more than adults
If your child has the above symptoms, they should be sent home as soon as possible to avoid spreading it. Symptoms last 5-7 days. A person should not return to school until they are fever-free for 24 hrs without using fever reducing medications. If you have not gotten your flu vaccine, it's not too late! Protect not only yourself but our students, especially those that are immuno-compromised. Again, good hand washing is key and covering a cough or sneeze.
