Tiny Tigers 2011

The Webster Tiny Tigers is a brain based child-centered program that uses developmentally appropriate activities to help your child learn and grow socially, emotionally and cognitively.

We believe that each child is a unique and special person with individual needs and their own pattern of growth and development.  We provide each child with opportunities to learn about him/her self and to explore the world in a caring, supportive, and enriching environment.

We provide each child with an environment in which they will learn basic language and literacy skills, math skills, and science skills.

We encourage the children to grow socially and emotionally by learning to value themselves and the others in the group.

We help children learn important social skills such as sharing, helping out, developing a sense of responsibility and learning to solve problems through communication and cooperation.

Our goal is to help each child:

  • Accept and value him/her self as an important and unique person
  • Accept and respect others, thier similarities and differences, and their feelings
  • Develop the ability to work with other children and adults
  • Develop a love of books, poetry and stories
  • Enjoy cooperative play and group activites, especially music, games, and dramatic play
  • Develop creativity through art, music, and creative play
  • Learn to make positive choices and decisions
  • Develop the ability to use thinking and reasoning in a wide range of situations
  • Develop math concepts such as number recognition, making patterns, classifying and grouping, and problem solving using meaningful experiences

It is the policy of the School District of Webster that no person may be denied admission to any public school in this district or be denied participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be discriminated against in any curricular, extra-curricular, pupil service, recreational or other program or activity because of the person’s sex, race, color, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability or handicap as required by s. 118.13 Wis. Stats.  This policy also prohibits discrimination as defined by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (sex), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (race, color, and national origin), and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (disability), and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
