Information and Technology Plan 2009-2012
The Webster School District's Information Media and Technology Plan for 2009-2012 has been developed by a core group of technology committee members to provide district-wide guidance for the next 3 schools years. It has been created using current research and best practices.
Four goals were chosen that stem from the Wisconsin Information and Technology standards. They include:
- Goal 1: Develop and utilize technology benchmarks for assessing student achievement at grades 4, 8, and 10, with initial focus on grade 8.
- Goal 2: Construct a district-wide plan to instruct both staff and students on current copyright laws.
- Goal 3: Continue to develop curricular materials available to students and guardians in an on-line format.
- Goal 4: Foster electronic communication between staff members and guardians and students.
